Penn State is not going to stop recruiting Rodney Gallagher.

He was their top target at wide receiver and is a Pennsylvania guy, they will take this to Signing Day.

Play on the field will be a factor. Penn State needs to be better than the 11-11 record they’ve posted the last two years. Additionally, West Virginia needs a good season.

Their head coach Neal Brown is just 17-18 in his three years at West Virginia. Will the higher ups there tolerate a fourth straight below average season? There could be some big changes at West Virginia by the end of the 2022 season.

Penn State will also hope that their offense takes another step forward in year two under Mike Yurcich. The Nittany Lions have a great trio of wide receivers in Parker Washington, Mitchell Tinsley and Keandre Lambert-Smith. If they have a big year, the staff will use it to recruit Gallagher.

This one isn’t over yet.
