Who Could be the Linebackers in Penn State Football’s 2023 Class?
Ta’Mere Robinson
Ta’Mere Robinson has sat near the top of Penn State’s overall target board for a while and they’re hoping to seal the deal soon.
The 4-star from Pittsburgh has only one other official visit currently scheduled, and it’s to Miami. Considering Miami is a new player in his recruitment and Penn State has been there from the beginning, this is a promising sign.
The question with Robinson may be whether he stays at linebacker or not. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, there is the possibility he grows into an edge rusher. Penn State has had bigger linebackers in the past though. Cam Brown was 6-foot-5 and Micah Parsons was 6-foot-3 and pushing 240 pounds during his time in Happy Valley.
Robinson is a WILL in Penn State’s defense and he has the makings of a good one.
While the Nittany Lions are hoping to secure Robinson’s commitment, Robinson is looking forward to getting back on the field. He suffered a torn ACL in the Fall that forced him to miss the end of his junior season.
The fact that Penn State is still pursuing him so hard says a lot about his talent and just how good the staff thinks he can be. Landing Robinson would be a massive boost to Penn State’s 2023 class.
