Tony Rojas

Tony Rojas from Virginia emerged as one of Penn State Football’s top targets at linebacker last Fall, and he hasn’t done anything to change that since.

The 4-star has an official lined up to Penn State on June 17. He will visit Clemson on June 3, Miami on June 10 and Georgia on June 24. As you can see, there are some big names involved with Rojas and they will all be rolling out the red carpet for him when he visits their campus.

Rojas has a combination of size, listed at 6-foot-3, and athleticism, as he is also a standout on the basketball court. That is what makes him such an intriguing option for Penn State.

Manny Diaz would love to win with this recruitment, especially with two national powers in Georgia and Clemson, and Diaz’s former school, Miami, all involved in this one as well. Beating out those three schools would be a statement win for the new defensive coordinator.

Penn State has the longest relationship of any of these schools with Rojas, and the hope is that helps the Nittany Lions win out in the end.
