Dee Crayton

Dee Crayton is not a well-known name to many Penn State fans, but the 4-star is expected to be in Happy Valley for an official visit on June 24.

The linebacker dropped a top five list this past weekend, and the Nittany Lions made the cut.

According to his 247 Sports profile, Crayton will visit Clemson on June 3, Auburn on June 10 and Missouri on June 17. The Nittany Lions will get the last say here. The only team in his top five that he does not have an official planned to is UCF.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is a 4-star, rated as the No. 21 linebacker in the country by the 247 Sports composite.

Crayton received his Penn State offer back in Sept. of 2021 and then attended a Junior Day at Penn State back in January.

He has 28 offers, but the schools he’s taking his officials to are probably the biggest names on that offer sheet. Beating out the likes of Clemson and Auburn for a 4-star from Georgia is not something we’d expect to see, but if the visit goes well, Penn State can put themselves in the lead.
