Penn State Football center – Juice Scruggs

Juice Scruggs was arguably Penn State’s best offensive lineman in 2021, and although that’s not saying much, the redshirt senior has an opportunity for a breakout campaign in 2022.

Scruggs spent most of last season as the Nittany Lions’ right guard, but this year he will move over and play center, which is his natural position. He was one of the top-rated centers in the country for the class of 2018.

The lineman from Erie, PA missed out on a lot of valuable reps for the better part of two years, as a result of recovering from a car accident that he was involved in.

2021 was the first time that he was a full-time starter for Penn State Football, so now with some valuable experience under his belt, Scruggs can build on a solid 2021 season in the position in which he is the most comfortable.

On his current trend, Juice Scruggs is probably a late round pick in the NFL Draft, but a breakout season could help him get into the conversation to move up into the middle rounds of the draft.
