Penn State Football wide receiver – Mitchell Tinsley

Following a 2021 season in which he caught 87 passes for 1,402 yards and 14 touchdowns enroute to a first team All-Conference USA selection, Mitchell Tinsley absolutely would have been drafted in 2022 if he had decided to go pro.

Instead, he decided to transfer to Penn State where he and Parker Washington will be a dynamic pass-catching duo for the Nittany Lions.

It will be extremely difficult for Tinsley to match the same level of production that he had at Western Kentucky last season, given the step up in competition, but regardless, Tinsley will hear his name called in next year’s NFL Draft. The only question is, when?

If Tinsley can turn heads and match his previous season’s production in the mighty Big Ten, he will be a virtual lock to be selected on one of the first two days of the draft. On the flip side, if the competition proves to be a little too much for Tinsley, he will probably slip until the end of the draft.

Right now, though, Mitchell Tinsley probably sits at around the fourth or fifth round.
