Penn State Football: An early look at next year’s NFL Draft prospects
By Nick Kreiser
Penn State Football wide receiver – Parker Washington
On numerous occasions last season, Parker Washington showed us that he can be just as good of a wide receiver as Jahan Dotson. Plays such as his touchdown catch vs Rutgers, as well as his one-handed catches against Michigan State and Arkansas, come to mind as some examples.
Washington, like Dotson, has tremendous hands and is extremely dangerous as a ball carrier after the catch, even though they are very different body types.
Once again, the Big Ten is loaded with elite playmakers at wide receiver, and the Penn State receiver from Sugar Land, TX is right up there with the best of them.

With Dotson now onto the NFL, Washington will be moved into the slot, which should provide him with even more opportunities to get the ball in his hands.
He hauled in 64 catches for 820 yards as the number two receiver in 2021, so now that he will be Sean Clifford’s go-to guy, Parker Washington can comfortably surpass 1,000 receiving yards in 2022 and be selected within the first three rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft.
