Defensive End Demeioun Robinson

With Arnold Ebiketie and Jesse Luketa moving on to the NFL, the ranks at defensive end were a little thin.

Penn State needed to add a defensive end via the portal, but no one expected it to be Demeioun Robinson.

The Maryland transfer shocked a lot of people when he put his name into the portal before spring practice even ended. He shocked even more people when he announced Penn State as his next destination.

As a true freshman in 2021, the former 5-star recruit recorded 19 total tackles with 2.5 being for loss and two sacks. He played in eight games, burning his redshirt.

Robinson was one of the most sought-after defensive recruits on the East Coast back during the 2021 cycle. Penn State was after him hard, hoping to make him Micah Parsons 2.0. It was a year later then they hoped, but the staff will now get their chance to do that.

Robinson, unlike Tinsley and Nourzad, has multiple years of eligibility remaining, making him even more valuable to Penn State. He still has some developing to do, but this is an exciting addition.

Robinson just checks off so many boxes for Penn State. He’s a defensive end with all the potential in the world, he has multiple years of eligibility left and you just stole him from a team that despises everything about your program.

Win. Win. Win.
