3. LB TaâMere Robinson
Arguably the top defensive target on Penn Stateâs board, 4-star Pittsburgh area linebacker TaâMere Robinson will take his official visit to Penn State on June 17-19.
Listed as the No. 145 player in the country and the third best player in Pennsylvania, there havenât been many 2023 prospects who have been to Penn State more than Robinson. There really isnât much more left for Robinson to see at Penn State, so this visit is all about sealing the deal.

Robinson did tweet last week that he is no longer taking an official visit to West Virginia, making Penn State his lone official as of right now. Thatâs probably a good sign for the Nittany Lions, but the hometown Pitt Panthers are probably in play for official.
I will no longer be taking an official to WVU anymore. First weekend of June openđ @RivalsFriedman @BrianDohn247

Landing Robinson would be a huge deal for the Nittany Lions, as they desperately need help at linebacker. Additionally, it would give them commitments from two of the top three players in the state, with a chance to land the top three if things go well with the next guy on this list.
Itâs felt like Robinson is destined to be a Nittany Lion for a while now, and James Franklin and staff will aim to make this his last visit as an uncommitted prospect.
