4. DL Derrick LeBlanc

Penn State has done quite well in the state of Florida recently and they’ll try to continue that success with 4-star defensive lineman Derrick LeBlanc.

LeBlanc, like every other recruit on this list (spoiler), will be on campus from June 17-19. Hailing from Kissimmee, FL, LeBlanc is rated as the No. 81 player in the 247 Sports composite rankings.

According to his 247 Sports profile, Penn State is currently the only school he is officially visiting. It’s unlikely that remains the case, but the fact his Penn State visit was the first one he planned is promising.

He has a healthy offer list that includes Alabama, Florida, Miami, Oklahoma, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Texas A&M. So, the fact that one of his five visits is set to Happy Valley, despite an offer sheet like this, is encouraging as well.

Considering he’s already listed at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds; LeBlanc is likely a defensive tackle at the next level. Penn State has numerous defensive tackle targets, but if this visit leaves a strong impression on LeBlanc, he could move to the top of the list.

LeBlanc last visited Penn State back in January, so he already has some familiarity with the school and felt the need to come check it out again. This is definitely one to monitor as LeBlanc tweeted that July 23 is his commitment date.
