Penn State Football is looking for back-to-back top ten recruiting classes and June will be a crucial month in reaching that goal.

Penn State football will host multiple top targets on campus this upcoming June for official visits.

We saw last June just how critical these official visits are, as the Nittany Lions crushed the majority of the visits, leading to thirteen 2022 commits last July.

What separates official visits from other visits is that the program covers all the expenses for travel, lodging, food and so on. This allows the recruit to bring practically their whole family, which gives the coaches a chance to win over the family in addition to the recruit.

Additionally, the visits last 48 hours. Most other visits are either for a game, in which the coaching staff gets only a few minutes to chat with recruits or are just the duration of one day. Official visits truly give a coaching staff an opportunity to make a lasting impression on the recruit and their family.

As noted, James Franklin and his staff handle official visits just as well as anyone in the country. So, when a big-time recruit announces their intentions to visit Happy Valley, fans should be excited.

Here are five recruits visiting this June that will certainly excite Penn State fans, as Penn State looks to add to the No. 5 recruiting class in the country.
