Penn State Football cornerback – Kalen King

Around this time last season, Kalen King was having a breakout spring as an early enrollee, preparing for his true freshman season. Now, he’s expected to step in as a starting cornerback to help a Penn State Football secondary, which was one of the best in school history last season, to continue their success.

King played some meaningful snaps last season, and showed flashes of potential, though he still made his share of freshman mistakes.

Has the sophomore cornerback made some progress, and is he ready to be a lockdown defender in the Big Ten? One of his teammates has been impressed with the young defensive back so far.

With so many talented wide receivers on the Penn State Football roster for King to have to line up against in the Blue-White game, we will get a good indication of where his game is at, to this point in his career.
