6. DE Jameial Lyons

Jameial Lyons has emerged as a serious option for the Nittany Lions over the past few weeks.

The 3-star from the Philadelphia area has been on campus numerous times over the last year, most recently this past Wednesday.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Lyons has good size for the defensive end position and has started to attract the attention of scouts around the country, with 247 Sports recently bumping him up to 4-star status.

Penn State has made the Philly area more of a priority recently and landing Lyons would be a boost to that. It’s unclear what’s next for Lyons, but the fact that he drove up to campus in the middle of the week in April is a good sign for Penn State.
