Offensive tackle is still a need for the Nittany Lions and there’s no better way to fix that then with the No.1 offensive tackle in the country.

Kadyn Proctor, a 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive tackle from Iowa, released a top seven back in the Winter and Penn State was included in the group. The only problem with Proctor’s group is that he has seven schools and only five available official visits, two schools will miss out.

In order to secure one of the official visits, Penn State needs to impress Proctor before he decides where to take his officials to. That opportunity will come in two weeks during Penn State’s Blue White Spring Game as back in February Blair Sanderson of Rivals reported that Proctor will be in Happy Valley that weekend.

The hometown Iowa Hawkeyes are going to be tough to beat in this one, as will the likes of Alabama and Georgia. Penn State doesn’t have to try to go for the top spot when Proctor visits later this month, they just have to impress him enough to land in his top five.

This will be a massive visit for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and one he will have to crush. If this visit goes well, Proctor could decide to take an official visit back to Penn State. If that visit turns out to be Penn State’s 2022 Whiteout game, anything is possible in this recruitment.
