Purdue is home to the upset top-ranked teams. In 2021 Purdue pulled off upsets of #2 Iowa and #3 Michigan State. Purdue continues to fly under the radar in the West Division. The most successful season under Jeff Brohm was punctuated with a great win over Tennessee in the Music City Bowl.

Jeff Brohm loves to throw the ball. Purdue will bring back its veteran quarterback Aidan O’Connell. They lose their best receiver in David Bell, but Purdue has proven to be able to reload at that position. The defense is average and the offense cannot run the ball.

If Purdue is to improve on last season, O’Connell must reach another level or they have to find a running game.
