The 2021 Nebraska Cornhuskers excelled at one thing during the season, the ability to find a way to lose a game. Nobody was better at losing close games as Nebraska was. Scott Frost returns as head coach and probably needs a bowl game appearance to keep his job.

Nebraska has been an average football program since Scott Frost took over. The good news for Nebraska fans comes in the form of Casey Thompson. Thompson is the best throwing quarterback that Scott Frost has had at his disposal. If Frost can get Nebraska’s offense to the level he had at UCF.

Nebraska lost all nine games last season by single digits. How many losses can Nebraska flip with better decision-making is anybody’s guess.
