We Are now less than five months from kickoff for the 2022 college football season, making it a perfect time for some way-too-early record predictions for Penn State Football and the rest of their conference-mates in the Big Ten.

Penn State Football looks to bounce back from a second-half collapse last year that followed a 5-0 start, as Ohio State looks to rebound from a 2021 campaign that, while most schools would accept it, was well below the Buckeyes’ expectations.

Michigan looks to repeat as Big Ten Champions, as well as knock off their rivals in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1999 and 2000.

Other teams are hoping to continue their upward trend, such as Michigan State who shocked everybody last year to reach double-digit wins and win the Peach Bowl, and also Maryland, who was bowl eligible last season for the first time in five years.

Finally, Scott Frost and Bret Bielema look to lead their respective programs to bowl eligibility, and Pat Fitzgerald hopes his Wildcats can have a bounce-back campaign.

A lot can change from now until September, such as transfer portal additions and offseason injuries, but as it currently stands, let’s make some early predictions for regular season win totals across the Big Ten in 2022.
