Former Penn State Football All-American and the NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year is heading back to Happy Valley for the Nittany Lions’ spring game this month

Is former Nittany Lions star Micah Parsons headed to Happy Valley for the Blue-White Game?

The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and first-team All-Pro linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys sent a tweet saying he ‘can’t wait for the Penn State Blue-White Game’ and to add to the intrigue, Penn State Football quote tweeted Micah Parson’s tweet stating ‘see y’all there. April 23’.

Parsons was a star in his two years at Penn State, earning consensus All-American status in 2019 and capping his career winning the 2019 Cotton Bowl Defensive MVP.  He was selected in the 2021 NFL draft (after opting-out of the COVID-19 altered year) 12th overall by the Dallas Cowboys.

The Harrisburg, PA native was a five-star recruit and highly coveted by Nebraska, Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Ohio State, who committed NCAA violations in their recruitment of Parsons.

James Franklin announced Parsons would play middle linebacker rather than defensive end and his status continues in the professional ranks as a hybrid defensive end and linebacker.

Parsons finished his rookie campaign with 84 total tackles, 13 sacks and three fored fumbles.

The annual Penn State Blue-White Game will be televised on Big Ten Network on April 23rd.
