The Verdict

After the first week of Spring practices, Penn State Football may be comfortable with what is already in their program. James Franklin is high on the return of DE Adisa Isaac and DT Hakeem Beamon. The staff is also very complementary of early enrollee DT Zane Durant.

The Penn State coaching staff is also very high on two incoming freshman linebackers. Abdul Carter and Keon Wylie could also push for playing time once they are on campus this summer.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Penn State is committed to going into next season with this current roster. They can’t add a player unless another player leaves the program.

Will this version of Penn State be good enough to compete in the Big Ten East?

Time will tell.
