The opening whistle blew and action in the first period started. Both wrestlers circled around the mat feeling each other out and trying to get to their offense.

RBY dropped in with an ankle pick and landed the first takedown of the match. Then on the left side of the mat, Fix was able to break free for the escape and the match was 2-1 in favor of Roman.

Both guys then finished the rest of the first period squared up and on the feet.

RBY started on the top position to begin the second period and he slammed Fix with a huge mat return. Daton was able to slip out early into the second period to tie the score 2-2 with a minute and 30 seconds left in the second.

Fix almost got deep on RBY but he shot for the waist and Bravo-Young defended it well and a stalemate was called. Following the reset, Roman tried to get back to his offense but there weren’t any openings so the match went to the final period tied 2-2.

RBY started the third period in the bottom position and slipped a beautiful spin to escape and take the lead once again 3-2.

Fix and Bravo-Young were tied up at the center of the mat following a shot by Roman, however no takedown was awarded and the official called a stalemate.

Following another restart RBY fought off attack after attack from Fix but he couldn’t land any.

And the time ticked away and Roman Bravo-Young is a champion again!!
