Penn State Football offensive lineman – Landon Tengwall

Landon Tengwall appeared in just three games last season as a true freshman, as it was his redshirt season, but he showed a lot of promise in his small sample size.

He is certainly one of the favorites to land in the starting lineup, but it is not a given.

The top three guards next season will (probably) be; Hunter Nourzad, Tengwall, and Sal Wormley, who was expected to start last season, until he suffered a season-ending injury in training camp.

Nourzad will not be on campus until the summer, so spring practice will be a great chance for Tengwall to compete with Wormley, as they both will presumably be getting a majority of the first team reps until Nourzad arrives.

Whoever performs better between Tengwall and Wormley this spring has the upper hand to win a starting job going into fall camp, making these spring practices extremely important for the young and talented offensive lineman from Maryland.
