Penn State Football defensive end – Zuriah Fisher

Zuriah Fisher is another linebacker turned defensive end for the Nittany Lions.

After now having one full season to transition and adjust to a new position, it is time for redshirt sophomore from Aliquippa to start making some noise for Penn State.

Fisher has more than enough athleticism to make a difference at defensive end, and another offseason with defensive line coach John Scott Jr could really help him take a big step forward.

The Nittany Lions have a lot of question marks at the defensive end position, as Nick Tarburton is the only returning defensive end that saw consistent action in 2021. Adisa Isaac missed all of last season with an injury, and Smith Vilbert is young and inexperienced, despite his excellent performance in the Outback Bowl in which he recorded three sacks.

Dani Dennis-Sutton will not be on campus until the summer, so spring practice will be a crucial time for Fisher to get as many reps as possible and prove that he can make an impact, before the highly touted freshman arrives.
