Thoughts
First and foremost, for NCAA implications it’s imperative for Beau Bartlett to win his match against Storr of Michigan to secure the auto-bid.
Secondly, there are a ton of “(MICH)” team abbreviations following grapplers in the finals. To win the Big Ten team championship, it’s going to be an uphill climb for Penn State.
Greg Kerkvliet’s loss to Tony Cassioppi of Iowa pretty much sealed the deal for the Nittany Lions. But they still have a lot to wrestle for in the remainder of the tournament.
Either way, tomorrow night’s action in the Big Ten Championship finals is going to be fun to watch.
