LB Gabriel Murphy, DE Grayson Murphy-North Texas

This two-for-one deal could be the perfect scenario for Penn State Football. Twins Gabriel Murphy and Grayson Murphy appear to be a package deal.

The twins have been at North Texas since 2019 and play Penn States’ biggest positions of needs. Gabriel Murphy earned all-conference honors as a linebacker. While Grayson Murphy earned all-conference honors as a defensive end.

Grayson Murphy is coming off of a season where he compiled 8.5 sacks to lead North Texas. Gabriel Murphy wasn’t far behind with 7.5 sacks. The twins know how to get pressure on the quarterback.

There is a lot of unknown when it comes to Penn States’ defensive line and linebacker rooms. The pair fill the biggest needs currently on the roster.

Penn State is not alone in its pursuit of the Murphy twins. The Murphy’s are being courted by Nebraska, USC, and UCLA, to name a few. They are currently on an official visit to UCLA for the weekend. Penn State is very much in the mix, but the competition is stiff.
