OT Tyler Steen-Vanderbilt

Tyler Steen is a mountain of a man. The 6’5″, 315lb offensive tackle has spent the last four seasons at Vanderbilt. Steen has played the last 33 games for the Commodores at both tackle positions.

After another disappointing season from the offensive line, Penn State Football has gone into talent acquisition mode. They have added four players from the 2022 recruiting class to the roster and a transfer with Nourzad.

Steen has the talent to step into this offensive line group and compete with Landon Tengwall and Olu Fashanu for a starting tackle role.

Tyler Steen is one of the more highly sought-after players in the transfer portal. You don’t often find offensive linemen that have 33 starts at tackle in the SEC available on the open market.

The major competition for the Nittany Lions for Steens’ services includes Alabama and NC State. All three schools have offered a scholarship to Steen. Steen has visits already scheduled with NC State and Alabama. He is expected to visit Happy Valley in March as well.
