Penn State Football remains on the hunt for a defensive end in the transfer portal
Penn State Football is once again trying their hand in the transfer portal to fill a need at defensive end sending out an offer to former Georgia Tech edge rusher Jordan Domineck
Penn State Football didn’t rush into the transfer portal this offseason, but remain hot on the tails of some of the top players currently available, including at a key position of need.
The Nittany Lions have put on a full-court press of defensive ends in the transfer portal of late and the newest target is seemingly former Georgia Tech edge rusher Jordan Domineck.
What Jordan Domineck would bring Penn State Football
Domineck entered the portal over the weekend, so Penn State Football is making him a priority and getting to the front of the line on what will most likely be a slew of power five offeres for the former Yellowjacket.
The redshirt sophomore has racked up 103 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks and six forced fumbles in four seasons at Georgia Tech. He has been a consistent producer in that defense that past two seasons and last season ranked eight among all power five defenders with a 15.2% pressure rate.
Listed at six-foot-three and 235 pounds he is the prototype edge rusher all defenses are looking for in the transfer portal. With defensive end Adisa Isaac hoping to return in 2022 from injury, the Nittany Lions are short on edge rushers. Domineck would be a huge get for Franklin and this staff, and now is the fourth defensive end they currently have offers out to, joining Ochaun Mathis, Grayson Murphy and Gabriel Murphy.
