A quartet of former Penn State Football standouts got an opportunity to showcase their talents with and against some of the best players in the country this week in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

Penn State Football’s representatives in the Reese’s Senior Bowl made strong impressions in the game Saturday.

Jesse Luketa and Jordan Stout played for the National Team, which was coached by the New York Jets coaching staff. Both of them were exceptional in their respective roles, as they helped lead the National Team to a 20-10 victory over the American Team in the 2022 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Arnold Ebiketie and Tariq Castro-Fields both were expected to play in the game, as they were at practice all week, but they did not participate in the game.

Wide receiver Jahan Dotson and safety Jaquan Brisker, who initially accepted invites to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, decided to opt-out of the game and were not at practice during the week.

This was one of a few offseason opportunities for these players to impress NFL talent evaluators, as they will also have a chance at the combine and pro day in the coming months.

Here’s a look at how each of Penn State Football’s Senior Bowl players performed in Saturday’s game:

Arnold Ebiketie (defensive end):

As was mentioned earlier, Ebiketie did not participate in the game for unknown reasons, despite practicing throughout the week. This was one of AK’s practice highlights from earlier in the week.

Ebiketie was probably not suited up and/or on the sidelines during the game, as he retweeted a video of a Jesse Luketa highlight during the game.

The senior led Penn State Football with 9.5 sacks on the year and led the Big Ten with 18 tackles for loss. So, despite not playing in the game, he will almost certainly hear his name called within the first two days of the draft.
