Continue to ‘dominate the state’

In 2022 Penn State Football landed eight of the top 16 prospects in Pennsylvania.

\James Franklin made it a priority to keep as much hometown talent as possible. This philosophy landed the top running back in the cycle, Nicholas Singleton. Other top-ten recruits at their position that came from Pennsylvania were OT Drew Shelton and ATH Mehki Flowers.

The 2023 linebackers in Pennsylvania can provide Penn State a chance to reload a position that needs depth. Ta’Mere Robinson, Semaj Bridgeman, and Josiah Trotter are all targets for James Franklin and new defensive coordinator Manny Diaz. ATH Rodney Gallagher is another player that could either grow into the linebacker role or stay in the secondary. Gallagher is the top defensive recruit in Pennsylvania and one of the most important targets in 2023.

The other must-haves in Pennsylvania include OL Jven Williams and S Rahmir Stewart. Williams is the top-ranked recruit in Pennslyvania and a position of need. Stewart is from Philadelphia, where Penn State needs to land the top talent.
