Andrew Parker – Linebacker/Arkansas

Parker saw limited playing time in his three seasons at Arkansas and now enters the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.

At Arkansas, Parker tallied 24 total tackles and a sack in his career but at six-foot-two and 225 pounds, he has the size and athleticism to step in a fill a role in Manny Diaz’s defense in 2022. Linebacker is unquestionably the biggest need and biggest question mark in Penn State Football’s roster and right now the projected starters would feature an inexperienced freshman and former safety.

The former Razorback was a three-star recruit out of Louisiana and does have 247sports crystal ball predictions sending him to Texas but as we have seen in the portal and recruiting process, that doesn’t always mean much of anything at all.

Parker has proven he is at least capable of coming in and providing depth if not being a starter for the Nittany Lions next season, if Franklin can sway him away from staying down South it would be a nice get for the defense.
