Final Score Prediction

Penn State 23
Iowa 11

I’ll just leave this here until further notice:

Same as last week, as long as there are no surprise scratches from either side (pretty please?), this dual meet should be a fairly low scoring affair with not many opportunities for either team to score many bonus points.

Last week I thought the Nittany Lions would pull out a narrow victory over Michigan. And as they always do, they proved me wrong in dramatic fashion.

But this Friday I don’t anticipate seeing any last-minute scratches from either side. It’s a dual meet in Iowa City under the lights, with an electric atmosphere and crowd, and it’s in prime time.

Wrestlers on both the Hawkeye and Nittany Lion squads chose their respective schools just for nights like this. And something tells me it’s not going to disappoint.

The dual meet will air at 9:00 p.m. this Friday (1/28/22) and air on the Big Ten Network.
