Sunday: In Home Visits

Penn State had nine members of its 2022 recruiting class enroll last week.

While the staff has been working to make them feel at home, including a trip to The Field, they also need to continue the relationship with those not arriving until the Summer.

Some of Penn State Football’s defensive signees have not yet been able to meet with new defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, but that changed as the staff took a quick trip down to the Philadelphia area to meet with Ken Talley and Abdul Carter.

Carter’s father seemed to be appreciative of the visit, as you can see from his tweet.

It’s good to see Diaz actively building a relationship with his future players. It was a difficult situation for Penn State’s defensive recruits, knowing the defensive coordinator who spent years recruiting them would not be there when they arrived on campus. Diaz has done a good job of making up for lost time.
