Penn State Basketball returns to the Bryce Jordan Center Tuesday night following a tough home loss to head coach Micah Shrewsberry’s old team, Purdue on Saturday.
After a surprising two-game winning streak, the Nittany Lions came back to earth, falling to then-No. 3 Purdue, 74-67.
With the halfway mark of the conference schedule on the horizon, Penn State Basketball faces a virtual must-win tonight vs Rutgers at 6:30 pm with the schedule getting significantly harder in the backhalf.

Familiar names lead the Scarlet Knights with Ron Harper averaging 16.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, shooting a scalding 43.7% from deep. Geo Baker is still running the point, averaging 11.9 points and 4.4 assists and big Clifford Omoruyi will keep Harrar busy down low, averaging 7.2 rebounds per game.
