All-American Bowl practices are underway and through two days incoming Penn State Football quarterback Drew Allar is turning heads

Highly touted Penn State Football commit Drew Allar is backing up his number one position ranking through two days of All-American Bowl practices this far.

Brandon Huffman of 247Sports ranked the quarterbacks after day two of practice from San Antonio and ranks Allar number one among the six.

"“Penn State signee Drew Allar has a live arm, is able to make all the throws.” Huffman writes. “Allar looks the most college ready of all the passers here.”"

If any fans are following along with any other National 247Sports reporters on Twitter, Allar has caught the eye of everyone down there and has made some pretty passes caught on tape.

This pass posted by Rusty Mansell gives you a good look at the arm talent of Allar.

Allar coming in at number one on this list gives them a rare win over Ohio State, as Buckeye commit Devin Brown checks in at number three.

With Sean Clifford set to return to Happy Valley in 2022 he figures to be the starter, but if Allar comes to spring ball and fall camp playing at this high a level, it will be interesting to see if he forces Franklin’s hand and beats out the veteran Clifford.

Must Read. Key changes James Franklin must make to turn Penn State around in 2022. light
