Penn State Football offensive tackles – Rasheed Walker & Caedan Wallace

If the Nittany Lions want to consistently move the ball through the air (which they’re going to have to), Sean Clifford needs time to go through his progressions and deliver the football.

The last time Rasheed Walker and Caedan Wallace were on the field at the same time, they were embarrassed by David Ojabo and Heisman runner-up Aidan Hutchinson as they led Michigan to seven sacks against the Nittany Lions.

Rasheed Walker did not play the final two games of the regular season, so it is unclear if he will play in the Outback Bowl.

Regardless, the offensive tackles need to play much better than they did for much of the regular season for Penn State’s offense to flourish.

Clifford had potentially his best career game against Auburn earlier this season, and he was well protected for much of that game. Give Clifford time, and he can do some nice things.

The offensive line needs to protect their quarterback to have a chance to win this game, and it begins with the offensive tackles.
