3. Get Creative

The Bowl season offers teams the ability to draw up some plays that they wouldn’t normally use.

Yurcich knows how to put points on the board. His history proves this.

If you have watched Penn State this year, they tend to be predictable on offense. It’s time to try new run-blocking schemes and get the ball to your playmakers in space.

Too often, the offense runs through Jahan Dotson to a fault. It’s time to take the training wheels off the offense and let this team make plays.

If you’re not willing to try new concepts in a bowl game, when will you? Penn State has everything you need to be a powerhouse offense; experience at Quarterback, Running Backs with size and speed, Wide Receivers that get open, and an Offensive Line that is supposed to be good. There shouldn’t be any more excuses.
