Penn State Football defensive end – Dani Dennis-Sutton

The Nittany Lions will lose one of their most impactful players from 2021 in Arnold Ebiketie, and also potentially lose Jesse Luketa as well.

So, there will be plenty of production to replace in terms of edge rushers.

Well, look no further than Dani Dennis-Sutton, who was highly sought after by Alabama and Georgia, so getting him was a big win for James Franklin and his staff.

Dennis-Sutton is the highest-ranked defensive player in this 2022 class for Penn State Football.

He has incredible size and athleticism, and that will give him the opportunity to earn a lot of playing time as a true freshman.

If Luketa does in fact declare for the NFL Draft, Dennis-Sutton, Nick Tarburton, and Adisa Isaac (who missed 2021 due to injury) will probably be the top three defensive ends for the 2022 squad.

He missed his junior season due to Covid and also missed part of his senior season due to a dislocated elbow, so it might take him a few games to shake some rust off and get into a groove, but once he does, Dani Dennis-Sutton will play a lot of snaps and has the ability to be a regular in the offensive backfield, even as a freshman.
