What Penn State Football signees are poised to make biggest impact in 2022?

Penn State Football wide receiver – Kaden Saunders
Kaden Saunders is one of the top receivers in the country, and he has the ability to see the field right away as a true freshman, even if not as a starter.
When discussing Saunders, Franklin said, “he’s a combination of KJ Hamler and Jahan Dotson”.
He is a well-rounded athlete, with excellent straight-line speed and lateral quickness who also runs great routes, so he can be a problem for defenses from day 1. His skillset also sets up nicely for him to be a potential kick and/or punt returner for the Nittany Lions.
Saunders is also a former Division I baseball recruit, so Mike Yurcich may want to hang onto those wide receiver passes that we saw from Jahan Dotson a few times this season because he has an outfielder’s arm.
Parker Washington and KeAndre Lambert-Smith both return as starters, which leaves only one remaining spot in the starting lineup for a wide receiver. Once he began to get more playing time, Malick Meiga showed some good things down the stretch of this season, and he will probably be Saunders’ biggest competition to getting into the starting lineup.
Harrison Wallace and Liam Clifford are two more talented underclassmen who could provide some competition for the true freshman receiver throughout camp.
As a wide receiver, and also potentially as a returner, look for Kaden Saunders to turn heads with his athleticism as a true freshman, and be a nice compliment to the returning duo of Parker Washington and KeAndre-Lambert Smith.
