3. DL Jason Moore

Penn State Football brought in plenty of talent on the defensive line in 2022, headlined by edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton.

The next step for defensive line coach John Scott Jr. is to start stacking this type of talent class after class.

Jason Moore is one of the more intriguing defensive line targets on the board for the Nittany Lions. Moore, listed at 6-foot-6 and 255, attends one of Penn State’s best pipelines in the Mid-Atlantic region in DeMatha Catholic in Maryland. That relationship may come in handy, as the 4-star has offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and others.

Like others mentioned on this list, Moore is a multi-sport standout as he also plays for DeMatha’s basketball team. With his frame, Moore has the ability to play both inside and outside on the defensive line, which would give Penn State another versatile weapon.

Penn State also needs to be able to land highly-touted edge rushers like Cameron Lenhardt and Ta’Mere Robinson, but Moore’s abilities put him at the top of the defensive line list, although it will certainly be a battle to land him.
