4. ATH Rodney Gallagher

Penn State Football put an emphasis on speed and versatility in the 2022 class, and if they want to continue that trend, landing Rodney Gallagher would certainly help.

The Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, Pa) standout excels both on the football field and the basketball court. He recently made the decision to focus on football for college, which is good news for the Nittany Lions.

Gallagher has a chance to be an impact player at either wide receiver or defensive back at the next level.

Penn State Football would like to accumulate as many weapons as possible for its impressive 2022 quarterback haul, and Gallagher would certainly qualify as a possible game-changer. If receiver doesn’t pan out, Gallagher’s athleticism will play at the safety position.

To keep up with Ohio State and Michigan in the Big Ten East arms race, Penn State Football needs to acquire as much talent as possible. A player who could make an impact in all three phases of the game, like Gallagher, would be in that category.
