Micah Parsons continues to be one of the NFL’s biggest difference-makers just 13 games into his rookie season
Micah Parsons continues to emerge as one of the NFL’s most dominant, and impactful defensive players and a driving force behind the Dallas Cowboys’ success on Sunday afternoon.
In the first half alone, Parsons produced two sacks, including sacking Washington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke forcing a fumble that Cowboys defensive end Dorance Armstrong Jr. returned for a touchdown.
Micah Parsons YOU ARE UNFAIR.

Following his pair of sacks, Parsons now ranks No. 4 in the NFL in sacks, with 12 while adding 50 total pressures.
Dallas has found success weaponizing Parsons as an edge-rusher, his natural position, in the aftermath of DeMarcus Lawrence’s injury earlier this season. Prior to becoming a first-team All-American at indie linebacker at Penn State Football, Parsons was the No. 1 defensive end in his recruiting class, out of Harrisburg High.
Now 13 games into his NFL career, few defensive players are having the kind of impact on games — and his team, than Parsons is for the Cowboys.
After much of the conversation nationally early this season centered around Parsons potentially as the front-runner for NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year, Parsons might now be a favorite to win the Defensive Player of The Year award, instead.
