Just a few weeks after announcing interim coach Jim Ferry would not be retained, Jamari Wheeler, who completed his degree at Penn State, announced he was transferring to Ohio State.   Wheeler was outspoken in his defense of former coach Pat Chambers and made his displeasure clear by transferring to our border-state rival.

It’s expeceted that transfer Greg Lee will still be out for a few weeks as he is still wearing a boot.  Shrewsberry announced that Jevonnie Scott’s NCAA eligiblity issues have been cleared, but he isn’t expecting him to play tonight as they are slowly working him back in.  Sixth year forward Seth Towns and fifth year forward Justice Sueing are still out for the Buckeyes.
