The Badgers had an early start to the 2021-2022 season, as they hosted a home dual against Buffalo on November 1st in the friendly confines of the UW Field House.

Wisconsin rolled in the dual meet in only dropping a single match en route to a 30-3 drubbing.

The Badgers, as did many other Big Ten teams, also took part in the Michigan State Open where seven of their 12 wrestlers placed. And of the seven grapplers who placed, three finished in 4th place which were each team-highs.

Next up for the Badgers was the Battle of the Bluffs dual against Little Rock (Ark.) on November 12th. Wisconsin once again prevailed in an early season dual, 32-13, but they dropped three matches on the evening (forfeit, decision, major decision).

Wisconsin then competed in the Garden State Grapple on November 27th, a tri dual against UNC and Hofstra. The Badgers ended up winning the final two matches of the dual against UNC to sneak by 20-16 and they demolished Hofstra 38-12 to sweep the tri dual.

Next up for Wisconsin is the Iowa State Harold Nichols Open which is set to take place as of the printing of this on November 28th.
