Penn State Football will take the field inside Beaver Stadium for final time in the 2021 season as they look to stay perfect against Rutgers since the Scarlet Knights joined the Big Ten in 2014.

Penn State Football more talented team on paper, so they will need some of their most talented players to take over the game in a big way.

The Nittany Lions‘ coaching staff will also need to call a good game and utilize their weapons properly, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, which has been the weak point all year long.

Here are the four primary players that will need to have big games for Penn State Football, who are in search of their seventh win of the season.

Penn State Football offensive lineman – Juice Scruggs

The unit as a whole has struggled, but Juice Scruggs has quietly had a solid season along the Penn State Football offensive line.

Scruggs was moved over to center last week when Mike Miranda exited with an injury early in the game, and he was equally as effective as he was at guard.

With some uncertainty about certain offensive linemen being available this week due to an apparent “non-Covid related illness” affecting some of the team this week, Scruggs will need to continue to step up and be a lone bright spot among an otherwise underwhelming offensive line.

Compared to what we have seen most of the season, the Nittany Lions ran the ball relatively well last week against Michigan. If Scruggs can set the tone up front and provide the running backs some daylight, they can consistently pick up positive yardage against a front seven that is far inferior to the one they faced last week.
