Penn State Football’s wins if …

Penn State has not converted well in the red zone this year. That’s the difference in the game last week.

But, all year long, too many decent drives stall out and force the Lions to settle for three…or worse, a fake field goal that results in no points.

This may be the biggest issue why Penn State is 6-4 currently, despite being ranked #4 in the nation just a few weeks ago.  Good teams move the ball, great teams score touchdowns (not unlike good teams win, great teams cover…cough, looking at you PSU Hoops, cough…).

So, we’ll set a reasonable goal.  Field goals aren’t bad, they just can’t be the norm.  Penn State wins if they score 2+ red zone touchdowns.
