John Harrar’s message to Penn State Basketball fans, Nittany nation

I wanted to give John Harrar the opportunity to speak directly to Nittany Nation:

“I’ll first thank them because it’s pretty cool walking downtown and people thanking me for coming back. My reaction is always to thank them, thank them for reaching out to me because I think that’s really special. I try to keep a good head on my shoulders. In five years, I hope I’m thanking some Penn State recruit. If Shrews brings in a 5 star, I want to DM them and thank them for coming to Penn State and tell them how much it means to the community.”

Beyond his commitment to Penn State and the community, Harrar says that he and his teammates are on a mission to represent Penn State Basketball in a way that fans can be excited about.

“We want to play a brand of basketball that we are proud of,” Harrar says. “Win, lose, whatever, I want to be proud of what we did and how hard we play.  There’s always more to give, I try to work out after every game(!), and even though I’m cooked after the game, there’s always something more to give to your teammates.  Let’s have fun as a group, as a team, let’s enjoy the ride and play some Penn State Basketball.”
