Penn State Basketball travels for the first time this season and in the Micah Shrewsberry era, tonight at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Penn State Basketball, led by head coach Micah Shrewsberry, and returning starters Seth Lunday and John Harrar, take on the Atlantic 10’s Massachusetts (UMass) Minutemen on Monday, November 15th (11/15/2021) at 7:00 pm in the William D Mullins Memorial Center in Amherst, Massachusetts on CBS Sports Network.

The Nittany Lions (1-0) opened the season with an easy home victory over Youngstown State.   The Nittany Lions were led mostly by the returning players or the  ‘old guard.’  Seth Lundy lead the way with 23, followed by Sam Sessoms (17) and John Harrar 16 (with 14 rebounds).

UMass (1-1) opened the season with a 77-60 victory over the Jim Ferry led UMBC squad, but fell to Ivy League powerhouse Yale last time out 91-71.  The Minutemen are led in scoring, rebounding, and steals by a former Nittany Lion, Trent Buttrick.
