6-3 (4-2). . Boilermakers . . team. 848.

And they did it again.

Purdue upset No. 3 Michigan State 40-29 on Saturday.

Much like in the upset win over Iowa, the duo of quarterback Aidan O’Connell and wide receiver David Bell led the Boilermakers to victory. O’Connell threw for 536 yards and three touchdowns, with 217 of those yards and one of the scores going to Bell.

When this air attack is clicking like this, there aren’t a lot of teams in the country that can stop them. The defense is a good compliment to the offense, it’s not a dominating group by any means, but they do what they need to to get the ball back to that offense.

Another opportunity for an upset comes Saturday as Purdue heads to Ohio State.
