As mentioned, Minnesota was upset by Illinois on Saturday 14-6.

The offense could put nothing together until late in the game when it was too late. Tanner Morgan struggled, throwing two interceptions, and for the first time all year, he had no real run game to compliment him.

Minnesota’s defense is solid, but they don’t generate a lot of turnovers, forcing the offense to usually go the length of the field to score. When the offense sputters, like it did Saturday, the Gophers won’t have much of a chance.
