Penn State Football safety – Jaquan Brisker

Moving from Penn State Football’s best offensive player to their best defensive player, Jaquan Brisker needs to also have himself a great afternoon against Michigan.

Brisker might be the Nittany Lions’ best player in coverage, but he is also a game-wrecker in run support.

Michigan’s offense relies heavily on the run, and they average 234 yards per game on the ground, good enough for 7th in the nation in that category. They also lead the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns with 26.

Brisker truly does a little bit of everything for this Penn State defense.

Listed as a safety, he spends a lot of time up around the line of scrimmage, almost as a hybrid linebacker, and can be a run stuffer there. He also possesses the ability to line up 1-on-1 across from a receiver and shut them down in man coverage.

Brisker needs to be his usual self on Saturday, flying all over the field and making great plays with incredible instincts.
