Penn State Football Wins If…

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Penn State Football and running the ball has not exactly gone well this year.

Penn State Football has struggled to get any impact from the #lawnboyz, despite the backfield appearing to be a strength coming into the year.

Let’s look at their stats thus far:

Noah Cain — 83 carries, 258 yards, 3.1 yards per carry, long of 34 and 4 touchdowns

Keyvone Lee — 48 carries, 237 yards, 4.9 yards per carry, long of 44 and 1 touchdown

John Lovett — 41 carries, 136 yards, 3.3 yards per carry, long of 18 and 0 touchdowns

Sean Clifford (QB) — 56 carries, 134 yards, 2.4 yards per carry, long of 43 and 2 touchdowns

Devyn Ford — 11 carries, 50 yards, 4.5 yards per carry, long of 12 and 0 touchdowns

Ta’Quan Roberson (QB) — 12 carries, 24 yards, 2.0 yards per carry, long of 10 and 0 touchdowns

Cazaiah Holmes — 2 carries, 12 yards, 6.0 yards per carry, long of 9 and 0 touchdowns

Jahan Dotson (WR) — 4 carries, 8 yards, 2.0 yards per carry, long of 7 and 1 touchdown

Yikes.

That’s ugly.

It’s time for Penn State Football to figure this out.

So, Penn State wins if they get 100 yards from the RB position. We’re not counting Clifford (or Roberson) scrambles, it needs to be a handoff to the running back.
